Katie Rodgers real estate career took off in 1994. Wasting no time, Katie marched herself up and down  her beloved sidewalks of New York City , block  by  block  identifying buildings, studying the layouts of their units, amenities and the neighborhoods.

Fluent in French and Spanish, multicultural Katie became in demand for real estate transactions within the close circle of the United Nations’ missions.  Katie’s  client list quickly expanded to include executives from Fortune 500 companies, Wall Street bankers,  professional athletes and film industry types not to mention some of New York’s top real estate families all seeking her skills.

Dubai provided inspiration to strike out on her own. In March 2000, on a 13 hour flight from Dubai to New York, with no specific business plan in mind she carved out Katie Rodgers Real Estate.

Integrity, service and the utmost discretion are the backbone of her success. Listening to her client’s wish list and keeping her pulse on the inventory are her working tools. Her dedication to her clients keeps the referrals pouring in.

Setting herself apart from the pack Katie focused her attention on new developments and soon created a niche for herself. Wearing a hard hat she applied her proven methodology and went to each new development mastering the complexities of the project and becoming an expert on floor plans, finishes, building mix, while frequently questioning the contractors and architects for more information; and other components that go unnoticed by an untrained eye. Katie began advising her international investors and local buyers to purchase off of floor plans sight unseen in projects she carefully selected for her clients, return on investment a priority. 

While Katie negotiated and sprinted to close deal after deal in New York, she was studying Dubai closely. She insisted on visiting Dubai frequently twice a year or more keeping an eye on market trends and building relationships amongst the business community while immersing herself in the local customs and culture. In 2006-2008, Katie brought her New York expertise to Dubai to participate in the building of Dubai’s iconic skyline.

New York is home to Katie and Lola, her 12lb. Italian Greyhound. On any given day the two can be seen “house hunting” the old fashioned way, “pounding the pavement” on Manhattan’s tony Upper East Side.
